This Christmas Eve, Dupont Ave (King’s Highway) in South Minneapolis between 42nd and 48th Streets will be lit up by candlelight, thanks to Mickey O’Kane, Kathryn Ringham and the Dupont Luminaries. This special group has supported DAP since 2003 through this annual tradition, where neighbors come together to “shine a light” on Domestic Abuse.
The Luminaries have raised over $34,000 for DAP to date, impacting hundreds of lives through their raising of awareness and monetary donations. We are so grateful for all of these neighbors, and for Mickey and Kathryn, who organize the event every year.
